Introduction to Blober: Cloud File Transfers
1 min read
Blober is a file management app for people who keep files with more than one storage provider. It transfers files between AWS S3, Azure Blob, Google Drive, a local disk and more, all from one interface.
You connect your storage accounts to Blober once and then work with all of them in the same app, so you don't have to sign in to a separate website or app for each service.
With Blober you can:
- transfer files between providers, or between a provider and your computer
- save a transfer as a workflow and run it again whenever you need it
- sort files into folders by date, type or size with path templates
- watch a transfer's progress and pause, resume or cancel it
- Create a workflow: choose a source, a destination and an action.
- Run the workflow. Each run creates a task.
- Watch the files transfer on the Progress page.
- Pause, resume or cancel the task if you need to.
Every transfer runs on your computer, and your files never pass through Blober's servers.
See Storage Providers for the complete list.
The Blober desktop app is available for:
- Windows: Windows 10 or later
- macOS: macOS 12 (Monterey) or later
- Linux: Ubuntu 20.04 or later, or an equivalent distribution
The app stores your provider credentials on your machine. Blober is a one-time purchase, so there is no subscription to renew.
