Frequently Asked Questions

Which providers can Blober transfer between?

Any two that can take the ends of a transfer. A source has to be readable and a destination writable, and a few providers only qualify one way: Google Photos can be copied from but never written to, so you will not find a transfer into it.

Can Blober copy Google Photos to another provider?

Yes. Blober reads the Google Photos library directly, so you do not need a Google Takeout export or a pile of numbered zip files. Photos land on the other side as ordinary image files with their dates intact.

Does a transfer go through Blober’s servers?

No. Blober is a desktop app and it talks to both providers from your own machine, so your files and your logins never pass through anything we run.

Is there a limit on file size or the number of files?

No. Blober does not cap file size, file count or total volume, and it does not charge per transfer. The only limits are the ones your own provider plans already have.

How much does Blober cost?

Blober is a one-time licence rather than a subscription, and every provider is included at that price.
